I. List of Script
writer duties:
- Create, audit, and test new and existing content for the customer communication channels for all of Tracfone brands during the implementation of prioritized company initiiatives and projects. Some of the channels for which this role will write content for are: company websites, IVRs, PBXs, Handsets, SMS messges, emails, services guides, phone tutorials , and other web based applications for customer service support
- Attend project meetings to remain up-to-date with the project’s timeline to be communicated to the Scripting Team.
- Participate in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for project releases and ensure that all defects are addressed in a timely manner.
- Review and recommend script improvements for existing scripts in any of the customer communication channels.
- Audit all scripts and system flows to ensure they are glossary compliant, consistent, user friendly and accurate.
- Review Customer Support and Research Reporting department’s feedback & data to ensure proper use of updated flows and scripts in all channels.
- Write proposals including necessary documentation (screen shots & mock-ups) for script changes/improvements needed.
- Review and approve marketing communications (banners, SMS, direct mail, voice-blasts, e-mails, etc.) before distributed to customers in order to ensure that it is operationally and grammatically correct, clear and customer friendly.
II. List of Script
writer qualifications
1.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2.
Candidates must reside locally (Raleigh-Durham area).
3.
Billable hours must be worked on site.
4.
Minimum of four (4) years of work related experience
with emphasis in techniques and methodologies relating to software quality
assurance and testing through the full systems development life cycle
5.
Experience in designing, developing and implementing
test plans, test cases, and test processes for Web, data exchange, and object
oriented client/server applications from requirements documentation and other
specification documents
6.
Experience establishing test objectives, approaches,
pass/fail criteria in well defined test plans
7.
Experience participating in the identification, entry,
tracking, reporting, and verification of defects
8.
Experience with software change management and version
management tools
9.
Ability to work within a team environment
10.
Excellent communication skills (oral and writing)
11.
Strong customer service orientation
- Experience with testing tools such as Borland Silk
- Experience with automation of test cases
- Experience with JIRA, SharePoint, and XML Schemas
