I. List of Scientific
writer duties:
- Technical writing in the form of validation reports, bioanalytical & final study reports, test methods, worksheets, and SOPs.
- Interact with customers in the development, writing and approval of validation reports, bioanalytical & final study reports.
- Coordinate document revision process for laboratory SOPs, Test Methods, and worksheets.
- Responsible for controlled documentation submission into Document Management System for laboratory documents.
- Assist laboratory end users with MS Word and Excel support.
- Provide technical experience needed to prepare and write a variety of scientific articles, reports, brochures, etc.
- Perform literature searches and reviews of technical/scientific research reports.
II. List of Scientific
writer qualifications
- BS or MS Degree with a minimum of two years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to write, read, and interpret technical and scientific reports and correspondence.
- Excellent oral/written communication, research, and interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office and e-mail.
- Experience with electronic document control system preferred.
- Demonstrates strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate basic scientific ideas to the general public.
- Demonstrates experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
