- Bachelor''s degree (preferably in journalism or related area) required.
- Two years experience on a daily or weekly publication writing for business audience preferred.
- Ability to turn around complex stories on tight deadlines and to juggle multiple story projects.
- Strong writing, analytical skills, and intellectual curiosity are a must.
- Capacity to synthesize regulatory, legislative, business and scientific information for professional audience.
- Team-oriented approach with ability to work in interactive environment.
- Work varied shifts - holidays and weekends included.
- Drive station vehicles (Motor Vehicle Record Check required).
- Work long hours and overtime, particularly during breaking news.
- Deal with the stresses and pressures of time-sensitive newscast production.
