  1. Manages and selects a team of external writers to produce SEO/SEM content for ITT/ESI properties.
  2. Researches, composes and edits off line and online content to be used on various ITT/ESI properties with the express purpose of supporting SEO/SEM efforts.
  3. Edits articles produced by external writers to enforce writing standards and guidelines.
  4. Tracks all writing projects as assigned.
  5. Contributes to creative process for marketing materials.

  7. Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures, ethical practices, and the guidelines of government and accrediting organizations.
  8. Researches information related to writing assignments in order to be able to provide complete and accurate information. Arranges interviews with people who can provide information about a particular assignment.

II. List of Marketing writer qualifications


         1.            Bachelor''s degree, preferably in Journalism, English, Public Relations or related field from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
         2.            At least four years of experience as writer, editor or assistant editor or similar position writing for online properties. Excellent copywriting and editorial skills with expert knowledge of SEO and SEM principles.
         3.            Experience in organizing and writing reports and presentations. Able to interact with employees and clients of all levels, especially those in a leadership position.
         4.            Proven educational or administrative experience in solving complex problems for individuals or teams. Experience with analyzing and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of options and exercise critical thinking, problem solving, and judgment skills.
         5.            Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high level, quality work and output. Proven record ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.
         6.            Interacts in a cooperative and professional manner with others. Past history of developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
         7.            Efficiently and effectively utilize a personal computer and related software including departmental specific software, Microsoft Office and the Internet.
         8.            Proven track record of project completions.
