I. List of Loan writer duties:
  1. Professionally design high-quality procedural documents that are clear, concise and accurate for various departments within the organization
  2. Analyze, research, and develop policy and procedure documents according to company standards
  3. Revise and update procedures regularly to ensure the most up to date procedures are readily available

  5. Compile existing documentation and create a uniform format
  6. Maintain policies and procedure in a centralized database on company’s Intranet site
  7. Develop a spreadsheet to track all changes and revisions
II. List of Loan writer qualifications
      1.            Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in English, Writing, or Technical Communications. 
  1. Equivalent degree in another field may be acceptable if a strong comprehension of English and the elements of technical writing can be proven.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience with writing corporate policies and procedures
  3. Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  4. Excellent organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated skills in critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving
  5. Highly proficient in time management, planning and prioritization; ability to manage changing priorities
  6. Demonstrated experience with process flow and process mapping
  7. Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  9. MUST provide samples of written policies/procedures during interview
  11.            Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Visio
  12.            Experience with mortgage servicing, (LPS desired), and mortgage terminology is desired
  13.            Adept at incorporating or merging documents from various software applications
