I. List of Literacy writer duties:

        1.            60%  Coordinate all aspects of the proposal development and submission processes for complex sales initiatives involving multiple sales teams, services and products.
        2.            Determine and facilitate all requirements and manage the completion of forms and materials though all the proper reviews. Schedule RFP review meetings; create responsibility matrix to ensure consistent communication; ensure RFP response is customized to customer''s requirements.
        3.            Ensure that written proposals adhere to the guidelines set forth by customers. Develop engaging, effective written styles and formats.
        4.            Coordinate contract language with Customer legal departments; prepare both large and small RFP''s at the State and Local level. Develop boilerplate and reuse material library to supplement proposal responses.
        5.            Continually improve the proposal development process and communication within the company. Search for new, better ways to develop proposals and respond to RFPs.
        6.            20%  Maintain an online Proposals/RFP knowledgebase and proposalsharing website, and other sales support tools as required.
        7.            5%  Contribute to proposal development training programs to ensure consistency and quality of proposals.
        8.            5%  Assist with win/loss reviews.
        9.            10%  Other Sales Operations activities as assigned.

II. List of Literacy writer qualifications

         1.            Master’s Degree preferred
         2.            Massachusetts Licensure in Elementary Education Grades 16
         3.            Knowledge of balanced literacy including reader’s and writer’s workshop, standardsbased mathematics programs, inquiry science and American history
         4.            Knowledge of differentiated instruction, accommodations and modifications
         5.            Strong collaboration skills to work with team members
         6.            Outstanding organization and multitasking skills
         7.            Excellent communication and presentation skills  both oral/ written
         8.            Strong classroom management skills
