         1.            Collaborate with subject matter experts to review, develop and maintain procedure manuals. Submit all changes for approval and publish the material.
         2.            Assist with the timely development, design, edit and production of policy and procedures documentation ongoing development efforts.
         3.            Review, design and determine the effectiveness of department procedure manuals.
         4.            Recommend changes or revisions and methods for improvement of manuals based on learning objectives.
         5.            Select or develop training aids, training handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
         6.            Produce content that is concise, complete, accurate, easy to navigate, and appropriate for the audience's level of technical proficiency.
         7.            Work with technical support staff to monitor customer responses and modify the documentation as needed to minimize required support resources.
         8.            Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, and dependable.

II. List of It technical writer qualifications
  1. 3-5 years of experience writing and editing IT documentation
  2. BA or BS in English Studies or Technical Communication
  3. Proficient in Adobe FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat for generating PDF documentation
  4. Proficient in Adobe RoboHelp for generating help systems
  5. Proficient in wiki authoring and editing
  6. Prior experience authoring IT documentation for Linux, Windows, and Solaris operating system
  7. Prior experience documenting REST APIs, XML-based technology, Web Security, SSL, and SOAP-based web services.
  8. Prior experience authoring IT documentation within the Agile SDLC
  9. Prior experience creating and using Virtual Machines to document complex software and systems.
  10. Familiar with basic networking concepts, which include HTTP and DNS.
  11. Familiar with how to use the bugzilla bug tracking system
  12. Familiar with how to use a version control systems, such as subversion
