I. Job qualifications
- A minimum of BA or BS degree. Advanced scientific degree in the life sciences preferred (MS or PhD).
- 5 years or more of direct biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience as a medical writer. Experience in oncology preferred.
- Excellent ability to interpret and present scientific and clinical trial data and understand statistical analyses.
- Excellent writing skills coupled with a comprehensive knowledge of the drug development process and regulatory guidelines, along with careful attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Initiative and the ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously and productively with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with computer software applications, in particular document management software.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with healthcare professionals, payers, advocacy and other business partners.
- Serve as a role model for compliant behavior that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of the ARIAD organization
