I. List of Film
writer duties:
1.
The Engineer has multiple responsibilities within the
Thin Film Optics group.
2.
As a senior member of the technical staff, the engineer
will perform the duties of both project lead and technical contributor, on his
own project and those of others.
3.
As a project lead, the engineer, together with the
program manager, will interface with the customer, be it internal or external.
This includes proactively keeping the customer informed, directing accurate
technical exchanges and completing follow-up actions promptly.
4.
Ability to actively manage/complete project task on
schedule is a key capability for this position.
5.
Supporting the program manager, the Engineer will
assist with the technical forecast and costing.
6.
The engineer will collaborate in technical activities
over a broad range of programs.
7.
Position may be responsible for the development of new
or improved Thin Film Optics products, including the following tasks: test
development, transition of technology from development to production, system
design, prototype evaluation.
8.
The engineer will work in compliance with the company’s
AS9001 certification. This includes rigorous documentation of processes, test
methods and test results.
II. List of Film
writer qualifications
1.
Experience in optical thin film design and/or
fabrication is required.
2.
Candidate will have excellent written and verbal
English.
3.
As a tech writer, candidate will have experience
generating specs, test plans, test reports and operational procedures.
4.
A solid working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Project
and PowerPoint is required.
5.
Experience with Thin Film modeling software is desired,
while programming skills in VBA, .NET, and Labview are valued.
6.
Candidate should have some experience w/statistical
process control and statistical data analysis.
7.
Hire should be experienced working in a corporate
environment. This includes participation in systems engineering processes
(PDR,CDR,MRR etc) and quality systems (configuration management, ECR, NCMRs
etc)
8.
Selected applicant will be subject to a government
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, which include U.S. born or
naturalized citizenship, for access to classified information.
