I. List of Biomedical photographer duties:

  1. Help design posters to advertise events

  3. Write up internal news stories and take photographs for inclusion in Maynard matters
  4. Distribute Maynard matters around site
  5. Conduct video interviews with employees for GE Works campaign
  6. Keep the site events calendar up to date
  7. Keep The Maynard Centre landing page up to date with the latest announcements
  8. Help keep plasmas (future planning) up to date with latest announcements
  9. Help with the delivery of events
  10. Support the Communications Specialist in the delivery of the Site Engagement and Communications Plan
  11. Maintain and manage site engagement and activities group meeting minutes & action list
  12. Arrange facilities and coordinate presentations for site townhalls
  13. Book meeting rooms
  14. Order catering and check fulfilment
  15. Inform reception and security of visitors to site
  16. Accompany official photographer on visits
  17. Meet and greet visitors
  18. Raise POs

II. List of Biomedical photographer qualifications

  1. High School Diploma, GED or local equivalent
  2. Current enrollment in a degree program that will lead to a bachelors or technical degree or equivalent in the function (or similar) in which the intern will work OR has a bachelors degree or technical degree in the function (or similar) he or she is interning in.
  3. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  4. Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
  5. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  6. Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines.
  7. Previous experience using independent thought processes to plan ahead, process information, maintain workflow and anticipate future needs of the team.
  8. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  9. At least 24 credit hours of coursework toward a bachelors/technical (or equivalent) degree in the function you are interning or a recent graduate from a Bachelors/technical program in the function you are interning.
