I. Key qualifications/requirements
- BS in a technical field or BS/BA in a non-technical field with demonstrated technical writing/communication skills.
 - 3+ years of Technical Editing / Writing experience.
 - Proficient at simultaneously editing multiple team generated products within a timely manner.
 - Capacity to work in a teaming environment. This will require initiative and a self-starting approach
 - Requires attention to detail in the polishing stages of a document for: content, formatting, consistency, and grammar.
 - Demonstrated ability to grasp complex academic material and communicate in a written format appropriate for the intended Marine audience.
 - Strong background using Microsoft Office products (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).
 - Experience developing and applying MS Word styles and templates.
 - Familiarity with version control and Configuration Management principles.
 - Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
 - Experience working in direct support of a DOD customer.
 - Ability to work with a diverse workforce composed of foreign country SMEs, academics and education program developers.
 - Thorough knowledge of technical writing principles and practices, and demonstrated experience preparing technical documentation for e-learning modules.
 - US Citizenship.
